It would need to be;
- Car owners
- Non-smokers
- A mature couple
- Police Record Checked [DBS]
- Experience of livestock & pets
- Have excellent references/reviews
- Fees comparable with kennel costs.
A “Win-Win” situation.
We don’t charge a fee, but we do ask for a contribution towards our expenses. That contribution would be a lot less than any kennel fees, and your home would also be secure in the process, not to mention getting the grass cut too!
What you DON’T want.
- A tourist seeking a FREE holiday
- Someone wanting a base whilst sightseeing
If someone is doing something for free, or wanting a bolt hole for tourism, they will be undertaking the assignment for the wrong motives, and will have a “feed ‘n’ go” mindset towards your pets.
They will not spend time playing, or grooming, and they will be in occupancy for as little time as possible.
We do not charge for our services, but due to the very high miles we travel from “sit” to “sit” our main cost is fuel.
