Our previous “sit” overlapped with this, so as “sit Crevillent was only 30 minutes drive from La Romana, Monty took Matty to Crevillent from La Romana, with her collection of suitcases, then he returned to La Romana the same day.
Therefore Monty was able to finish the last few days at La Romana, before joining Matty to complete the sit there.
We had actually done similar before when “sit” 2 and 3 had a two days overlap, but in that case there was a 3 hours journey between them. But as both of them had been let-down at short notice it was appreciated by the Owners, who were glad not to abort planned holidays.
House & pet sitting is not just about house sitting, but about caring for pets as if they are your own, and helping people when they have been let down.
In memory of Isaac
Sadly Isaac passed away in April 2017.
